Mauchline Community Association

  • Our Community Centre!

Mauchline Community Association is our village group who manage and maintain Mauchline Community Centre. We came together in April 2010 when our Centre was in bad shape and East Ayrshire Council were not putting the money back into the facility and we were threatened with an increase of hourly rates.

Each individual let is now encouraged to come on board as a member and work along side the 3 Directors, who are as follows:

Lorraine Schendel - Chairperson

Sharon Harkins - Letting Secretary

Laura Pagan - Treasurer

Mauchline Community Centre provides Mauchline residents with 3 halls for let.

  • Main Hall - Our main hall is a large easily accessible area which includes a stage and can hold upto 120 people for a function.  The kitchen facility is adjacent and can be available at additional cost.
  • Small Hall - The small hall is to the back of the Centre where the maximum capacity is 15 people.  This area is ideal for small group meetings etc.
  • Cooper Suite - The Cooper Suite provides a carpeted area and a kitchen facility within the room.  This suite is ideal for clubs, groups etc for weekly, monthly meetings or gatherings.
  • Kitchen - Our Kitchen is avaialble at a one off charge and the Directors are currenlty working on a refurbishment project for this facility.

Mauchline Community Association meet in the small hall of Mauchline Community Centre on a monthly basis.
