Are we seeing a resurgence in gang culture?

Young people from across our area recently met in Mauchline for a pre-arranged Friday night street fight but were stopped in their tracks when police caught wind of the plan.

Police have warned that a zero tolerance approach will be taken. Cathy Jamieson MSP told the Cumnock Chronicle that she finds the gang related violence worrying and that it urgently needs to be stamped out.
