Changes coming for Mauchline recycling collections

  • Changes are being made to refuse collections in East Ayrshire

Recycling and waste collection services in Mauchline are set to change next week – have you checked to see how the changes will affect your collections?

All residents will receive a letter, leaflet and bin vinyl this week which will outline the changes to the collection routes which will come into force on Monday 28th May. The changes will not affect every resident but about half will see a change to their normal collection day and could also see a change to the colour of bin being presented.

Read your leaflet carefully and attach the vinyl, enclosed with your letter, to one of your bins – it provides detailed information on which bin to put out and when.

There are also a series of public information events being held around East Ayrshire to answer any questions you may have on the bin collection changes.

Wednesday 23rd May Cumnock Town Hall 2pm – 7pm
Wednesday 23rd May Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock Main Hall 2pm – 7pm
Thursday 24th May Stewarton Area Centre 2pm -6.30pm
Thursday 24th May Gavin Hamilton Sports Centre, Darvel 2pm – 7pm
Friday 25th May Doon Valley Sports Centre, Dalmellington 1pm – 4pm
